Chocolate Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 14.5 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed + 2 tbsp. reserved liquid from can

  • 1 bar (2.64 oz.) Beyond Good Pure Dark 92% Chocolate, melted

  • ¼ cup tahini

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon Beyond Good vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • For serving: strawberries, blackberries, dried mango, dried pineapple, pretzels, graham crackers

Instructions

  • Drain chickpeas (reserving 2 tbsp. of the liquid from the can) and rinse well.

  • Chop chocolate into small shards and place in microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until fully melted.

  • Add all ingredients (including reserved chickpea liquid) to a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary to fully incorporate all ingredients.

  • Transfer to a serving bowl. Optional: garnish with maple syrup and more chopped chocolate. Serve on a platter with strawberries, blackberries, dried mango, dried pineapple, pretzels, graham crackers, etc. Enjoy
