Chocolate Hummus
Ingredients
1 14.5 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed + 2 tbsp. reserved liquid from can
1 bar (2.64 oz.) Beyond Good Pure Dark 92% Chocolate, melted
¼ cup tahini
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Beyond Good vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
For serving: strawberries, blackberries, dried mango, dried pineapple, pretzels, graham crackers
Instructions
Drain chickpeas (reserving 2 tbsp. of the liquid from the can) and rinse well.
Chop chocolate into small shards and place in microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until fully melted.
Add all ingredients (including reserved chickpea liquid) to a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary to fully incorporate all ingredients.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Optional: garnish with maple syrup and more chopped chocolate. Serve on a platter with strawberries, blackberries, dried mango, dried pineapple, pretzels, graham crackers, etc. Enjoy
