Grilled Fruit Kabobs with Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
6 strawberries, stems removed
2 mangoes
4 kiwis
2 nectarines
1 pineapple
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon orange juice
6 skewers
3/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes, to prevent them from burning while
grilling, or use metal ones.
Preheat the grill to medium heat.
Wash all the fruits and chop into large pieces and thread through skewers.
Warm honey with orange juice and lightly brush your kabobs.
Place the kabobs on the grill and grill until the fruit gets some nice grill marks on each
side.
Remove to a serving plate and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
For the chocolate sauce:
Place chopped chocolate bar in a bowl.
Add heavy cream to a small saucepan and heat on low until the cream begins to
simmer.
Pour hot heavy cream over the chocolate and whisk actively until fully combined into a
smooth and shiny mixture.
Use the warm sauce immediately, or rewarm it briefly when you need it.
